Francesca Filanc's paintings
present a contemporary interpretation of nature along with
a deeply stimulating view of human characters. Considered
by many to be an Abstract Expressionist, her paintings
possess tremendous energy as experienced through the use
of bright, bold colors. Francesca's style reflects her
love of French Impressionists and Post-Impressionists such
as Monet, Matisse and Chagall.

I find it very interesting how painting can be like shining a light into the sky at night. The light just keeps flowing for eternity into the heavens. In that respect paintings can have energy.”
